How Does a Capacitor Trip Device Work?

A capacitor trip device is common for use as a medium voltage circuit breaker. It worked on the lockout device, controlling the power transformer and ensuring that the extra voltage can go to ground. Capacitor trip devices are connected to the half wave rectifier or bridge rectifier in AC power control. Based on the vicinity of the cycles the charging time for the trip device monitors for access current and then protects the bridge rectifier by tripping during an incident.
